Hi hi! 

 

My name is Jerri Adriano (she/her/hers) and this year, I have the pleasure of serving as the Vice Chairperson and Treasurer for this beautiful organization. As Vice Chairperson some of my main responsibilities include assisting and supporting my fellow Executive Board members as well as y’all, our General Body members. My responsibilities also include building morale, organizing retreats, and filling any vacant positions. As Treasurer, my main responsibilities include handling and keeping record of all the funds related to our organization so we are able to do everything that we do. 

 

This organization has provided me with a community of friends and a place where I am able to learn more about myself, more about other people, and more about the Filipino Culture as a whole. I’ve experienced a lot of growth from being a part of this organization, and the more I am here the more I continue to grow. I hope that you also find a sense of belonging and comfort being in this space and are able to learn, make fun memories, and form lifelong connections as myself and many others have been able to do within this org! 

 

A bit about me, I am currently a 3rd year Psychology major, with a minor in the Honors Interdisciplinary Studies. Along with being a part of this organization, I also serve as Treasurer for the Asian Pacific Islander Social Work Association (APISWA), and am also a part of the Pacific Islander Student Association (PISA). I have a big love for music whether it’s listening to it, singing, or going to concerts/festivals. Fun fact, this summer I went to about 13 concerts/festivals so that was really exciting hehe. I also love baking, and spending time with my friends whether we are exploring new places, trying new foods or going for a quick boba run (a large brown sugar milk tea w/ less ice and boba from gong cha >>). 

 

I look forward to meeting all of you and seeing all that you do as the year progresses. If you ever see me around campus please do not hesitate to say hi, or even reach out to me if you want another friend to hang out or even study with. As an EBoard member I am here to be a resource to yall, but as the person I am I always love to make new friends so please do not be shy. hehe hope to see yall around! <3
