Raymond Trinidad (he/him)

2nd Year Computer Engineering Major

Community Affairs Coordinator

Hello everyone !! My name is Raymond Trinidad and I’m a second year computer engineering major. I am excited and honored to be able to serve as AB Samahan’s Community Affairs Coordinator for the 2022-2023 school year !! My role as the Community Affairs Coordinator allows me to be able to act as a liaison between AB Samahan and the Filipino-American community. As Community I also act as the representative of AB Samahan under the Filipino Collegiate Collaborative, allowing me to work alongside other representatives of different San Diego college Filipino-American organizations. And, of course, I work alongside our Political Affairs Coordinator to host and organize meetings under our leadership auxiliary, the Andrés Bonifacio Leadership Emergence.

I was born and raised in Chula Vista, California, just south of the City of San Diego, and I graduated from Otay Ranch High School. At Otay Ranch High School, I was involved in ASB as a Technology Commissioner, the president of the Bayanihan Club, webmaster for South Bay Key Club, and a tenor for Full Effect Show Choir. But when I’m not doing school stuff, I love watching movies and shows and listening to music (follow me @broskiep25 on spotify). I am also a collector and collect things such as Funko Pops, record vinyls, fitted hats, and wrestling figures. I am very excited to be working with FCC and ABLE this year and I hope all of us can create many memories together throughout the school year !! I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and if you have any questions or just want to talk just say hi or hit me up on any of my socials !!
