Julian Natividad & Angelo gozon

Hi everyone!

I’m Julian, one of your FCN Scriptwriters alongside Angelo. Currently, I am a second-year TFM Production Pre-major although looking to switch into Critical Studies.

FCN was one of the biggest reasons why I stayed in Samahan- I had so much fun being a part of this undertaking and the payoff was so worth it. On top of that, creating a production shaped by and for the Filipino culture is something I feel really passionate about.

As one of your Screenwriters, I hope that we can create a story that resonates with and inspires everyone. The story we want to tell for this year’s FCN is exciting for me, a story that I feel will impact everyone.

What goes on? My name is Angelo Gozon (he/him/his) and I am lucky enough to be one-half of this year’s scriptwriters for FCN!

As of right now, I am an SDSU second year Interdisciplinary Studies major (kinesiology, social work, and gerontology). I was born in Yokosuka, Japan (not too far from Tokyo if I remember) after moving back and forth and from school to school multiple times, San Diego is truly my home. My hobbies are zoning out from watching YouTube videos and using other social media, playing basketball or other sports, singing, dancing, and sleeping…if my brain would actually let me sleep.

At the start of the year, I made a promise to myself that I will do everything I can to get out there and overall improve myself from last year. When I went to my first GBM this past fall, I thought I was a “late” member or an outsider because everyone seemed to join in their first year or in their third year as a transfer student. However, I was relieved because everyone in this organization was so open and friendly that I decided to keep attending as many activities as possible.

I wanted to continue challenging myself, and because I wanted to involve myself more, I decided to apply for the scriptwriter position. However, I did not expect to see how talented the rest of the FCN board is; it’s very inspiring.

I wish you all the best.
