Hello friends! My name is Ryan Lieng and I am the Co-Director of SOAR Board!

 

I was born and raised in San Diego and I am a first-year Business Management major. A dream job of mine is to run my own business, but I have no idea about what. I have a furry friend at home named Tiger, and his breed is a terrier mix. On my free time, I love spending time with my friends or binge-watching The Office or We Bare Bears. You can occasionally find me at slounge crying of laughter because The Office is so funny!! Oh, I also love trying new foods, so if you’re ever going on a food adventure, count me in! 

 

I joined AB Samahan because getting involved around campus is really important to me as I was super involved in high school. I want to learn more about Filipinx culture and gain an educated perspective on the cultural diversity within San Diego State. Also, everyone within AB Samahan has such positive and welcoming vibes, I am proud to say that AB Samahan is my home away from home.  

 

As Co-Director, my job is to help assist in literally anything related to academics within AB Samahan. For example, I help plan High School Conference, Filipino Graduation, study sessions, and more!
